The Shield : Season 1
Episode 110 : Carnivores

After shots are fired at drug dealer Rondell Robinson and music producer Kern Little, Shane suspects Black Muslim Xavier Salaam of leading a vigilante force. However, Vic finds that it was actually Tio, one of Rondell's own men, upset at his inattention to the business. Investigating a home invasion robbery and murder that wiped out an immigrant family's life savings, Dutch and Claudette suspect that culprits may be relatives. And in an effort to save his political future, Aceveda goes to see the woman who accused him of rape fifteen years ago. Meanwhile, Nick sets out to have his son taken off the waiting list at an exclusive private school. While Aceveda is happy letting the Muslims police the Farm, Vic worries that it will jeopardize his deal with Rondell. Concerned that Rondell is losing his grip, he warns Kern that he is going to switch his allegiance to Tio. Although political patron Jorge Machado manages to kill her story, reporter Tereza Verela warns that revelations about Aceveda's past will eventually become public. Meanwhile, Dutch and Claudette arrest the grandson of a Korean couple who died in the robbery after another crime casts suspicion on him and his friends. As Machado encourages David to apologize to Maureen, Vic recovers a stolen heirloom ring stolen that helps get Matthew into the exclusive school. At a graduation party, Julien confronts an armed teenager in the hope that getting killed will end his torment over being gay. And seeing that Rondell can no longer be trusted, Kern agrees to let Vic bring stability back to the neighborhood by having Tio take the dealer out. Finally, Aceveda finds that Maureen holds him responsible for the two teenagers who raped her many years ago. Directed by: Scott Brazil Written by: James Manos, Jr. and Kevin Arkadie & Glen Mazzara
