Research has contributed many fine new things for the motoring public.
STYLING: The Styling Section of Chevrolet works with mock-up and clay models in developing new models of Accessories which will harmonize to the graceful lines of the Chevrolet automobile. Many hours are spent in designs, new ideas and new models of Accessories that keep pace with the new models of automobiles.
ENGINEERING: Chevrolet maintains a large engineering staff which devotes their time to the designing of tools and dies that are used to fabricate the many Chevrolet Accessories. The specifications for the tools and dies are most important because they are the controlling factor in production, for Accessories that fit the automobile and can be installed in a minimum amount of time, assuring the new car buyer of lasting satisfaction and service from the accessories. Specifications as to the type and gauge of materials to be used are determined by the Engineering Department, so that the quality of the Accessory is comparable to the Chevrolet automobile. Sound engineering is the first step to quality Accessories.
PRODUCTION: Vast manufacturing plants have been established to meet the ever increasing demands for quality Accessories. Volume production results in better products at lower costs, to serve more people with better Accessories.
