Peter McCANN, born ca 1834, Co Tyrone, Ireland, son of James McCANN and Ann CURLY was married in 1855 in Co Tyrone, Ireland to Jane LITTLE, born ca 1826, Co Monaghan, Ireland, daughter of John LITTLE & Jane BELL.

Peter & Jane McCANN emigrated on the "General Hewett" in 1856 to Portland, Australia and settled at Sandford in South-West Victoria after a daughter was born at "Kadnook" Station near Harrow.

Jane McCANN died at Sandford in 1890 and Peter McCANN died in 1912.

Janes's brother Andrew LITTLE also emigrated settled in Sandford in 1862.
