Holden HK Monaro GTS Coupe (1968)

The first Holden Monaro was produced in 1968 and given the name HK. This stylish coupe was bred for its youthful good looks and racing performance. The GTS 327 version won the Hardie Ferodo 500 in its first year on the track. On the road the Monaro GTS was admired and envied by other motorists.

Holden HT Monaro GTS Coupe (1969)

Hitting the bitumen at full throttle, the 1969 HT Monaro captured the hearts of sports minded Australians across the nation. Looking every bit a winner in wild new colours and bold black stripes, the HT Monaro was also the first local car to offer Aussie-made V8 engines.
