HOT RODS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

There must be literally thousands of rods being built. Here's your big chance to show it off or maybe give yourself some incentive to keep at it. If you want your new found pride and joy listed here just drop me an email, include some details about your new project and attach a couple of your favorite photos.

Here's some photos from Troy Goldner in South Australia. Troy is only just starting out and this is his first rod. When finished it will feature a 350 Chev on gas, Turbo 400, Jag front and rear suspension. He's hoping to have it on the road in 3-5 years. Good luck Troy and we look forward to some updates along the way.

Here's a couple of shots of Dave Whiteheads mild but very radical 56 Failane Victoria. Dave is a member of the West Coast Rod & Custom Club and lives in Perth WA.

Kym Cramer is building what has to be a rare ride, anywhere in the world. It's a 1934 Hupmobile. If you want to see more of this rod, follow this link.

Although Ken Smith is from California, his '32 Ford was originally from New Zealand, so it still qualifies as an Aussie Rod Under Construction. You can see more of Ken's project here.

I was lucky enough to be in the Roadstar Paintworks in Braeside when Rod Schrader's '37 Chev Roadster was being delivered. Work to date has been by Hoppers Stoppers and includes swaping the doors for those from a ute, which have windows in the frames. This is one rare little puppy, Norm Darwin's book of Chev's quotes that there were only 164 ever built. Rod lives in Queensland, the Chev is being built in Victoria and this is his first look at it's progress.
