CNN Hummer Special - Season 4 - Episode 13

At the start of the Iraq war, CNN acquired two Hummers to assist their journalists. After long and dangerous tours of duty, the vehicles were sent back to CNN headquarters in Atlanta. One of the Hummers was put on display as a reminder of the network’s mission. As for the second Hummer; well, it was decided that it would receive an “Overhaulin’”, provided, of course, the crew was willing and able. Chip and company gladly said, “Yes”!

Chris, A.J. and Chip went to Atlanta to meet the Hummer known as “Warrior One”. The vehicle was brought back to Quantum Tecstar, where the A-Team tackled their biggest ride to date. Airbrush artists Dru Blair, Mickey Harris and Mike Lavallee also took part, creating murals and other works of art all across the body of the Hummer. Once the truck was completed, Overhaulin’ took Warrior One back to Atlanta, for a series of reveals that brought excitement to many of the people at CNN. One of the reveals took place on live television, along with news that the Hummer will ultimately be auctioned off to help the families of injured vets, all by way of a giving organization known as Fisher House.
